Customize the CRM 2015 global search feature for US phone number format.
We are using the CRM 2015 global search feature for contact entity. In contact entity we are storing phone number information in (XXX) XXX-XXXX this format. While searching if user does not enter the phone number in this format then search does not return any result. How can we overcome this scenario. Is it possible to write the custom code on global search text box to format the phone number on tab out. OR is it possible that this search ignores these special characters and still returns the result irrespective of the phone number format.

Automatic Parameters for an SSRS Report
How do I create a SSRS report so when it runs in CRM it defaults to only records edited in the current month that are owned by the current user? I do not want the user to have to "run" the report. I just want to display the results. This report will be used in a dashboard.

Why do Accounts and Contacts become inactive and get re-assigned randomly
Hi guys
I do not know if anyone else is experiencing this, but I have noticed that some Accounts and Contacts become inactive and get re-assigned randomly. Even other members in my organization have been experiencing the same issue. Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so, what is the solution if there is any or at least the recommended solution

In admin portal on portal.office.com - I don't see any solution available for installation. What are we missing?
Earlier in the day, we got email from Microsoft that "Action Needed to Enable FantasySalesTeam for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online" but there is solution installation option available. What am I missing?

Can Fantasy Sales Team Solution be installed in our CRM online Sandbox without affecting Production?
I ask because I when I installed the "Insights" solution in our Sandbox via O365 CRM instance picker, I installed the Solution in Sandbox but after the publishing it there, it appeared (with functionality) in our Prod instance. It sounds crazy but I did not import or Publish the "Insights" Solution to Prod.

When I click on save it should be generate and every time I update the record it should not increase but it must be locked.The format for my auto number as follows;

Can't see new column when run View

Get body of dynamics email template within plugin
Hi All Good Morning,
We have below requirement
Using plugin we have to send SMS template to the contact.
On form we have field where we can select template for SMS and we will send message of this template to contact from plugin.
The issue we are facing is.
We have created email template with dynamic field in template like Contact ID , Contact Name etc...
now we are fetching that templates body but only getting static value within it for dynamics value we are getting "??" so how we can get dynamic value.
plugin is going to fire on update event of contact at that time we have to send SMS using selected template with dynamic content email body.

Error while adding SSRS reports in CRM-2013
Hi,
I want to get the total number of leads and opportunity created by a person in CRM-2013.
To do that i used "filtered opportunity " in Sql query to get the output and that was working in the ssrs builder. and when i uploaded it in the CRM only the header was displayed the data was not displayed.
but the same query when i used "opportunity base" the data was displayed in the CRM without any error. I know it was not a good practice but that solved my issue.
So how to used "filtered views" and get the output for the same. So do i need to change any setting or other thing so that i can get the output.
Any help will be grate!!

Issue with Product proerties
We have properties defined for Products in CRM.
When these products are added to Opportunities in CRM, and users try to assign values to the Product properties they get an Insufficient permissions error.
Just wondering what exact privileges are needed to be able to assign values to properties for opportunity products. Did not see any good documentation for this.
I do see many entities like Product, Property Instance, Property Association etc...

How to install crm widget on existing IMAP account?
Hi,
I have to configure crm outlook widget for outlook existing IMAP account and ost file (see screenshot). As we know, dynamics crm doesn’t support IMAP. What is less painful algorithm to do this?
- I want to avoid such mistakes as “An unknown error occurred while synchronizing ..” and others
- And transfer all folders and rules of existing account to new POP account
I ll be very happy if you provide your answer with steps like “1. Delete 2. Create 3. Uninstall etc.”
