Connector Issues with CRM 2011 upgrade to CRM 2013

Hi

We are in the process of upgrading CRM  2011 to CRM 2013. Currently we are using connector ( version 2.3.1306.1) for integration with NAV 2013. My question is before I upgrade CRM 2011, do I need to uninstall connector and after CRM 2013 is installed, need to reinstall the newer version of connector. 

If yes, how will I backup or export the mapping created in connector , as well other configurations for it to work on the newer version.

And does the uninstalling of connector  affect NAV 2013?
