We have recently signed up to Microsoft Online and have hit the problem of trying to report on our contacts in aggregate queries.
Currently we have 150,000 contacts and hope to have over a million by the end of the year.
I understand that the answer is either to change the reporting criteria to return smaller numbers which is not really appropriate for us or move onto a on premise solution.
My concern is that although I know you can change the limit on an on premise solution - how much of a performance hit does this change have.
Does anyone run a Dynamics Instance where they have changed the limit to a much higher value and do you have any issues?
I do not want my reports/dashboards to return every single record but for instance if we want to know how many people registered with us by month then as soon as more than 50,000 register in one month then dynamics cannot report on it.
