This should be an easy question for someone that understands Microsoft Dynamics CRM. I am new to it and using as a salesperson for a company. However, I have experience working with programmers and building websites. I have an idea for my company and want to introduce it. I only need two simple questions answered to see if my idea is feasible.
We have our CRM set up to save phone calls. The pop up window has the owner of record, the client name, address, phone number, email, etc.
Question 1: The first thing I want to do is add the option to associate a company to the call so all the information associated with that company will be accessible.
Question 2: I want to know if when click the Save button (or Save & Close) it can export information associated with that call.
From my understanding working with programmers, I don't see any reason why these two simple things cannot be done. I am not a Dynamics administrator so I don't know how easy it is for them to do that. My hope is that there is already a function for administrators to easily export the info. I would want to capture all of the client info as well as all the info associated with the company that is assigned to the call. With that info I would export it to a separate website where I would manipulate the data to do whatever I want.
There is a lot of info associated with that one call so would be able to do a lot with it in a custom website.
