My friend and I have a desire to develop CRM mobile app for Windows 8 devices with GPS tracking option.
The main idea of that app is to put emphasize on 'field workers'. We consider this app would be useful for mobile employees who spend most of their time with customers (insurance agents, sales representatives and etc.) in the fields and need to have access to corporate IT resources and customer's data.
At the same time their supervisors will be able to get answers to questions like 'Where there are at the moment? What is their agenda? What particular job they do when deal with customers? Which orders do they place?'
The idea is rather raw at the moment but we are pretty excited about it and we want to build first version with a very limited number of features, so we would be able to test it and promote within potential customers.
My question is mostly about your overall opinion and what should we consider as a 'must have' in ver.1? I would appreciate very much if you could share your thoughts, ideas or any links related to subject.
