Error adding products to quote CRM2015

Hi,

I am currently getting an error when either trying to add existing products or write in products into a quote or order using the product inline grid.

I get a cross and the error "The product cannot be saved because the parent cannot be edited" and if a write in product I also get the error "You must provide a value fro productdescription"

I seem to be the only person in the organisation with this issue.

Any ideas?
