Plugin Error "No Active Transactions"

Hello Community,


I recently stated getting this error message after being locked out of CRM for exceeding storage capacity. It errors out when users try to create an opportunity and/or case.

Show only Products from the Order's chosen Price List when adding new Product?

Hello all:

I know that previously, we could, on an Order, choose the Price List, and then when we would add a new Order Product, the default view would show only the items from the saved value of Price List in the Order.  Now, that has changed to a view that shows all products.  However, is there a way to modify that view to filter to only the items in the Price List field in Order?  I see no relationship in the Related section that refer to the Order itself, and am unsure how to assign this filter dynamically to that Product view.

CRM 2011 with third party load balancer

We are deploying a crm 2011 environment and use F5 Networks as a load balancer. Due to the strict network policies the network team mentioned we need to place another crm server in the DMZ.

What type of server/role should i place in the dmz?  Would i be able to move one of the two app servers to dmz

Using Ribbon Workbench, is it possible to place buttons that link to Dashboards?

Does anyone know if it's possible to create a button on the Dashboard using Ribbon Workbench that links directly to other specific Dashboards? I know this seems like a strange request but a client of mine has over 60 Dashboards and they would like four of then permanently placed at the top near the navigation for quick access. I'm attempting this with Ribbon Workbench right now but there doesn't seem to be any info on this.

Outlook client Tracking issue in CRM 2013

When the Outlook client is installed and I am configuring the same I get this error:

 

If I use the same URL from my browser it works perfectly alright.

 However if I configure the Outlook client a little while after it is installed then I am able to configure it.

However again, the CRM section for tracking emails in Outlook is disabled for some reason. I uninstalled the Outlook client, removed registry entries, enabled it through the diagnostic tool and reinstalled several times but I get the same results.

What am I missing in my troubleshooting?

Issue setting search columns on quick find view

Hello,

Currently when I use the quick find box for LEADS it seems to be searching just on the first or last name (NOT full name). So if I type a Lead's full name into the search box it won't find them (even with *).

In settings I went to the Quick Find View for Leads and tried to add full name in the list of columns to search in, but full name wasn't visible on the list!

I was able to select full name as a search column for the Quick Find view for contacts, so I'm not sure why I can't do the same for Leads.

Any ideas?

SSRS. Making a dynamic field. CRM 2011

Hi All. In my report i have added a field called activitytypename. In the placeholder properties to the field, in Action, i have enable GO to URL and put the following expression

=IIF(IsNothing(Parameters!CRM_URL.Value), Nothing, Parameters!CRM_URL.Value & "?ID={" & Fields!ActivityID.Value.ToString() & "}&LogicalName=Activitypointer")

In the report when i click activityname field, CRM  instead of opening the record opens a window and asks me to create a new activity. I cannot understand where is my error. I have used a similar expresion above for other entities without issues.

CRM 2013 Social Pane/Activity Pane is sorted wrong

The activities seem to be sorted by the modified date.  But it also seems that reassigning accounts and contacts sets the modified date for historical activities causing them to bubble up to the top which isn't appropriate.  Any ideas of how to fix this when I've got tens of thousands of activities that are now in the wrong order because we did some major account reassignments?

Auto populate a field 'on load' based on the last saved form entry

I want to create an efficient way to enter log entries into our CRM without having to enter in the repetitive information on the new form each time I click "save and new." The contact name (look up field) and date will usually remain the same so it would be ideal to have those fields pre-populate on the new form based on the most recently saved form to speed things up.

How can I make that happen?

Should each user have Microsoft CRM Outlook Client installed to 'Send Direct Email' to Customer in CRM 2013 Online?

Doesnt CRM have a built in email service for this?

In our organization not all users have Outlook client installed, so only the ones who have it installed can send emails from CRM?

The Incoming and Outgoing Delivery method is set to Microsft CRM for Outlook.

 Email Router is only for CRM On-Premise - Is this true?

What License should I assign to CRM Online Users in Office 365?

Dear friends,

We have 116 users in our CRM online Organizations

Ours is a Sales and Manufacturing Company and all the users who use CRM are either Sales Managers (need access to accounts,contacts,opportunities) or Proposal engineers who work on quotations/orders  needing access to pricelists and product catalogs.

Does this mean all the users should be assigned the Professional License which is the current situation and highly pricey

Do you think we can assign licenses in any other most economic way? On what scenarios do you usually use Basic/Essential Licenses?
