How can you perform event management in crm? I know you can use the marketing area and assign campaign cost but that's not real event management. There are costs for order products, traveling, booths, guest list, ect.

Export to Excel Issues in CRM 2015 Update 1
Hi- we're encountering some very strange issues when we export data to Excel from CRM 2015 with Update 1 in our Sandbox. When we export a view (within the Product entity, for example) as a static worksheet, it opens the file directly in Excel as intended. Once we are in Excel, any attempts to copy and paste individual cells, multiple selections of cells, rows or columns into another tab in the same spreadsheet or even into a completely new spreadsheet gets us this error:
We are running Office 365 Pro Plus and have this problem in both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. I can even get Excel to crash if I attempt to do a Paste Special and select Paste Values and Source Formatting. This problem has been re-created on several different computers.
I realize Microsoft has redesigned the Excel export process significantly in Update 1, including rows containing the GUID information even for basic exporting, but I wouldn't expect such drastic problems after an upgrade. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Dynamically refreshing the Posts, Activities & Notes Control/Social Pane
Hey everyone I was wondering a quick question: Our organization is implementing a business process flow that requires activities to be completed to get to the next stage of the flow. We have everything working, except when we create the Lead record, the activities will not display until the user refreshes the entire page. Is there a way to dynamically refresh the Activities & Notes Control pane so that they will display after the workflow has created the activities (Note we are running synchronous workflows).

Hide "Activity" entity SubGrid '+' / New Button (CRM 2015 On-Prem)
Is there a way we can hide the "+" on sub-grid of Activity entity. I am able hide it for other entity e.g. email or task sub-grids but it is not working for Activity. Does anyone know how to do it.

I'm having a really really weird issue with configuration Wizard on a freshly installed Dynamics CRM for Outlook 2015 client.

"Approved" field can only changed by user entered in "Approved By"

I have 2 fields called Approved & Approved By.
all I need is the Approved field can only be changed by user/logged in user that match the Approved By,
I have tried to use Business Rules, want to try to unlock field Approved if the Current User = Approved By, but I didn't found way to to that.
any suggestion about how what I'm doing?

Access ProcessId and StageId in Dynamics CRM Plugin
I'm writing a plugin on Campaign in Dynamics CRM 2015 Online which used a Business Process Flow. The fields ProcessId and StageId which are created by the Business Process Flow in Campaign Entity. I need to retrieve these values for a record in my plugin.
They don't appear in the Plugin Registration Tool's Step Image. They don't even appear in CRM workflows were I can populate them in some other field.
Is there a good alternative on how I can achieve this?
