Problem with recent cases view in account's page

I'm after happy integration with Dynamics CRM 2013 on-premises. I've also found some things that I can't handle (spent a lot of time trying to fix it):

1. When I get into account page, there is box with recent cases. As I remember it was showing cases from account and contacts too. I tried to add some columns to this view through 'customize entity'. I add column 'modified on' to the default view. After that operation the results on this table are empty.

Usually I'm using cases with connection as a customer to the contact entity (not account). It was showing data in account page from all contacts connected to the account. Now after this small change in view I can't see any records.

I tried to edit filter criteria, but all I achived is that I can see record connected directly to the account (not contacts). Is there any possibility to make this as on the beggining? For example on Case page where is Customer box I can see all conected recent cases.

2. And the second question. Can I change the format of the date on social pane which is 'today' or 'yesterday'? I would like to see the hour of the post. For older posts there is the whole date like "2014-05-06 14:52". I would like to have something like 'today, 15:52' or '2014-06-27 15:52'.
