We have a scenario where we need to configure large number of Business Units within CRM. Most of these Business Units are at the same level of the hierarchy. Some of the users are floaters – i.e. they don’t really belong to a Business Unit – they work at multiple Business Units. But in CRM, they need to configured as part of a Business Unit.
Now this problem. Some of these users can work at more than 5-10 business units. Had they been working in one, two or may be even three business units, we could have created as many teams and add the users to these teams. Creating 5-10 teams to cater to this requirements seems like a bugger!
Can you think of something simpler or something innovative to cater to this requirement? Note that these users are floaters, which mean they might be working for 10 business units currently, but this may expand or reduce down the lane.
