I've been having this problem with a handful of users. We're using the Outlook (office 2010) client for CRM 2011 (latest rollup 18) with an on premise server. The problem is, with the CRM add-in enabled, these few users will start to have any and all windows spawned from Outlook opened behind the main window. I've disabled all other add-ins, to see if something else could be causing it, but no luck. Outside of the stock add-ins and our ticket software, we don't have any other add-ins.
Safe mode does seem to prevent the bad window behavior, but that isn't a solution.
I've cleared temp files, recreated mail profiles, recreated entire user profiles, reconfigure CRM (remove and re-add site), uninstall reinstall CRM, and still nothing.
One way I've found to recreate the issue was to do a Save and Send from Excel. For some reason, it seems that by doing this with the CRM add-in enabled on the client, windows will open behind the main client. Problem is, that's just one of the ways to break it. I've also had it happen without a user opening any other Office programs. At least one gets the problem first thing in the morning sometimes.
Has anyone else seen something like this? Any idea how to resolve it? Thanks!
