We have started migration of CRM 2011 to 2013 (SP1) in our project. And the plan is to go for new environment for migration. And the data will be around 40 Gigs
To test the approach I’m trying to import an organization with ~ 500 MB of sample data and everything is working fine as of now. The problem we are seeing now is we are unable to use the new product updates (Like Routing, SLAs) which should come when we click on the “Update Product”. It is trying to do something but after some time it is giving error (Literally -) “Oops !! Something went wrong, Please try again. If problem persists contact support”. No error information.
Below are the different trails we have done as of now.
1. Increased SQL time out settings in registry (as couple of times event log is showing errors/warnings on this front)
2. Default Organization updated without any problem
3. Project organization without any data is also imported easily and product updates also went well.
4. Project organization with data is failing to do the product updates even if I delete all the data in the organization after import organization.
Can anyone suggest me the other possible options that I can try?
