CRM 2011 restore and import

I have two backup files, one <organizationname_MSCRM>.bak and MSCRM_CONFIG.bak from a client.  I created a new instance of SQL server and restored both of the databases with their respective names.  When I run the import wizard in the deployment manager I get an error, saying that it can't find the organzation.

1.  I have SQL Server and CRM on two separate virtual machines

2.  I can still access the other organizations on the CRM server

Any insights?
