We have emails being tracked automatically that shouldn't be tracked. It's not every email and it's not every user. Some of the more pervasive emails are like daily report emails or SPAM warning emails. These having nothing to do with anything in Dynamics. The user can untrack one but the next one will be tracked again. What rules are being used to track these? I can see the activities on the contact record but no one is choosing to track these. The track rule in Personal Options/Email is set to 'Email messages in response to Dynamics 365 email'.
The tracked messages are NOT in response to a Dynamics message. How do we stop these false trackings?
Another question.... When a user clicks the Track button in Outlook, an activity is created in Dynamics. What entity does the activity track against? An account? a contact? an opportunity?
