Currently leads start as leads and then get converted to account/contact/opporunity. I want to be able to add new leads (people) under existing accounts so I can carry some of the account info over into the lead.
Is there a way to create a relationship between accounts and leads so that I can create a new lead from an account just like I would create a new contact from an account? Our company works contacts more than the overall account as there may be multiple departments within one company that we want to get into but we don't necessarily want to put all prospects directly into contacts since we haven't officially qualified them all yet.
Has anyone else done this and what are the pros and cons of this?
