We currently use Tableau to provide customer facing reports due to its ease of navigation and the ability for the customer to view in a free to use viewer. Our data is extracted in CSV format from Microsoft Dynamics CRM and loaded into Tableau. Initially i looked at the OData connector but experienced issues with authentication, after a couple of weeks of emails with Tableau support I was informed that this wasn't supported. A supported Microsoft Dynamics CRM connector would make the transfer of data and production of Tableau reports far quicker and more efficient. If any other users are experiencing issues with this or have found a work around please post.
