In the latest version of Dynamics it is pretty simple to turn on OI. We would like to use it, with the primary users being in IT, collecting the data to derive insights to share with the Business.
I am trying to find out what the impact is to the system or users if we switch this on. What would they see, another system dashboard (that we ask them to ignore?) Any other visual changes in the system?
Also, is everything visible in the OI Dashboard or is the intention to expose data for charting/visualizations outside of D365?
Any best practice tips or advice as we explore this area of the system?
