Import is not triggering plugin which is on create of the entity

Hi All,

i need a help here. While importing opportunities records are creating as expected. The plugin registered in create of opportunity is not triggering at all. The plugin is autonumber plugin registered on pre-Validation. When i create the record normally it's working fine. Thanks in advance

Note: Kindly dont ask me to debug as i dont have the source code.
