How to set up Email Delivery? We do not use Office365 Outlook in our desktops - we use the Outlook online version only

Hi,

We need to be able to do a simple task: to send email alerts to the team whenever a Lead/Opportunity/... is assigned to a person. To do this it seems that we need to have installed a plug-in for Outlook Desktop (in our case we only use the Outlook Online version) or install something called Email Router(?).  

After going through some posts and documents its seams this is not easy to configure.

We use Office 365 Online only (nothing installed in our desktops) with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Is there a simple way to configure this? Thanks for your help in advance.
