We are trying to use existing distribution lists from our Exchange Online environment within CRM for sending email. We have over 500 DL's in Exchange. Do we have to create a contact record in CRM for each one? Is there no integration with Exchange DL's?
We can use the Outlook Add-in for any adhoc sending which would then piggyback off the GAL in Outlook. But any CRM workflow can't use the add-in and needs an email object within CRM.
Is there any workaround for this or plans for adding this functionality in the future?
