We have CRM365 on-prem edition (v8.2.0.749) installed and have configured Server-Side Synch to our exchange 2016 server. This has been working fine, but about a week ago it stopped working.
Two things happened a week ago and we are trying to work out which one is causing the outage. We moved our CRM to a new server and the Exchange server was patched. The network chaps also disabled support for TLS1.0 and TLS1.1 leaving TLS1.2 as the only working protocol.
Q. A lot of blogs ask can CRM Server Side Synch work with Exchange using TLS1.2, but these post have all three versions of TLS enabled. What is the situation with CRM365/ServerSideSynch/Exchange2016 when TLS1.2 is the *only* protocol available?
Should this still work, do we have to do anything to CRM or Exchange to support TLS1.2 as the only protocol. Do we have to install different .NET Frameworks on the servers hosting these applications?
Any assistance greatfully received.
