Hi people.
I have a multiple deployment of a CRM 2016 (Web Server, App Server, BD Server). The BD Server is SQL Server 2014.
As I would like to perform an upgrade, and know the 'software requeriments for Dyn 365 On Premise' are:
- Microsoft SQL Server 2017 Enterprise1
- Microsoft SQL Server 2017 Standard1
- Microsoft SQL Server 2017 Developer (for non-production use only)1
- Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Enterprise, with Service Pack 2
- Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Standard, with Service Pack 2
- Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Developer, with Service Pack 2 (for non-production use only)
So my questions:
1-should I install all new 3 servers again for Dyn 365?
or
2-Should I install Only Database Server with the new version of SQL that supports Dyn 365?, and the rest (2) of the servers (only upgrade with the 'fix update'.
