Using Dynamic 365 online V9. I’m getting a strange behavior when trying to import connections as Contacts connected to an Account. I am using the OTB Connections Template. All works fine until I add data to the RoleTo field. It connects the Contact to the Account OK but there is nothing in the RoleTo field. Have have copied the RoleTo directly from the Connections table to make sure it exists in the lookup table. If I then try to add the RoleTo manually by selecting from the dropdown it comes up with a red cross.
If I try to save the record an error message pops up ‘The Lookup could not be resolved to a record in the system. You must select the record for the system to use before you can save’ even though I have just selected the RoleTo in the dropdown.
I then have to delete the connection and manually re add it to get it to work. If I import without data in the RoleTo field it will allow me to add the RoleTo manually after the import.
Would appreciate any help on how to resolve this.
