I encountered an odd issue with a client today that I thought I would share with the community in case anyone else ran across this as well. He has not had the issue in the many times he has gone through this process before, so it may be something related to a recent security update (of course that NEVER happens!).
The client would build an email as part of a workflow process with dynamic fields, but when he would save and close the form and come back into it, the second and every subsequent dynamic field was replaced with the first dynamic field.

After a lot of troubleshooting, he noted an oddity that he did not recall in builds prior to the issue - after inserting a dynamic field, a small selection appeared to the left of the newly inserted field. If you are not watching for it, it would be easy to miss.

Resolving the issue entails getting rid of whatever that is. Upon adding the dynamic field, simply hit Backspace to eliminate the extraneous "character". With the extraneous character omitted, the problem goes away.
The issue was experienced in Chrome. It was not tested in other browsers.
