Dynamics CRM 365 - Quick Create Forms, Pull "Parent" Attributes?

Hey Everyone,

I am looking for some feedback, ideas, or suggestions for an issue that I am running into with Quick Create Forms in Dynamics CRM 365 (on-premise) with legacy form rendering off.

Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view.

When using the New or Create button that I have circled above, the end-user has the ability to launch a Quick Create Form for different entities such as Opportunities or Leads.

They can also choose to launch these same Quick Create Forms using the + button above the sub-grids that are available on the Account form.

When using the + button on the sub-grids, with the relationship mapping, the quick create forms will launch and have some fields already auto-populated with information. This works great and it is exactly what we're looking for.

From my understanding, using the New or Create button on the Site Map will not trigger the relationship mappings the same way the + button will on the sub-grids.

Question, is there a way to pull attribute values off of the 'parent' form in the On Load event of the quick create form using JavaScript so it will display the field information right away?

I understand there may not be a supported way to do this but would anyone happen to have any code snippets or examples available on doing that - Either supported or not?

In previous iterations of CRM such as 2015, I've found success using code such as:

window.parent.frames[0].Xrm.Page ...etc

window.parent.Xrm.Page ...etc

I appreciate any and all advice.

Thank you!
