Contacts created from incoming email no longer have an email address in last name field

Hi Folks,

has anyone else noticed a change in this in the last week.  it used to be new contacts created via incoming email had their email address in the last name field, however now it appears be be populating first name and last name with the name values?

ive noticed this in multiple Dynamics  instances.  is this possible a change in exchange or Dyanmics directly?
