Is there any way to choose some setting that will prevent automatic email tracking from Outlook to CRM when using the new App for Outlook, but still allow user to manually track email message from Outlook to CRM?
If you want to install and use the new App for Outlook you have to have incoming email set to server side sync. So if you want to track manually email to CRM you will press track button, but as you have chosen the SSS for incoming email sync method and your personal settings for sync is set to "email messages in response to Dynamics 365 email" all the replies to the original email will automatically tracked also. Since we don´t have a choice in personal settings Track "none" I find this quite strange and because of that we end up to have a lot of emails in CRM that we don´t want to be there.
And if I choose for incoming email sync "none" then I´m unable to install and use the App for Outlook, because you have to have SSS for incoming email to be chosen or you cannot install the App for Outlook.
Does anyone have same kind of thoughts and challenges when using this app? And how have you managed to resolve the issue?
