I have finally managed to make some business rules work for the company I work for. They are validated and working ok based on roll up fields in account and contact entity (scope is set to entity as well). Problem is, I manually have to go and save each respective account/contact every time they run.. For example, depending on a roll up field that counts total revenue per account, the engagement field should be set to highly engaged, moderately engaged etc.. Now the business rule runs ok, but there is an indication of unsaved changes where the floppy disk is and I have to manually go and save the account.
Is there a way to make the system save the changes when business rules run or is it a lost cause? Not really sure if I can use workflows as I know they cannot utilize roll up fields? My auto save is on but nothing is changing.
