Export to Excel functionality in CRM

Hi,

When I try to export report to excel in CRM 2011 report , it used to give time out/ SQL server error while doing this activity from user's  local workstation. This functionality is working fine on server and report is having near about 33K records.

Could you please suggest why it is giving time out issue at user local workstation ?
