I have a question. I've been trying to migrate CRM Account data from one instance to another. I exported all Accounts from the source data and removed all lookup fields as they have not been added into the target CRM instance. This process seems to have worked.
I then exported an excel spreadsheet from the target CRM instance with the Parent Account column and overlayed the source parent account lookup fields over it and then reimported it in to update the parent Account field.
All Parent accounts seem to update except for a select few which didn't. I compared this with the ones that were successful and the only difference is that the parent accounts that failed is also a child of another parent account.
Does the import to update process not work when there are more then 2 tiers of parent to child relationship?
