New UI - partly a step back

I am selling CRM since some years. And now I have a Problem that the new UI is partly a step back, partly a step Forward.

I do not understand why MS does not allow the 2011-interface anymore, with the last Releases the ribbon goes fast, the left side (tree) is in my opinion much better than the actual solution. Outlook has an "old" but proven Interface which is widly accepted.

A tree on the left side is unbeatable in usability, also after some years.

If you have a complex application (xrm) with hundreds of addtional Actions which are placed on ribbon - how should that work with the new UI.

the new UI might be acceptable for simple a simple application - but for complex application we are missing ribbon and tree (area). It is real art to offer a solution for simple AND complex applications.

Astonishing: on IPAD or Win8 on the left side (and not on the top) the entities are shown. I do not understand the Advantage of changing the tree to the top.

Who has similar experiences????
