Currency field

Hi all!

My base currency is peso, but I just set the default currency "euro". But as soon as I qualify a Lead and get into the Opportunity, the currency field is set as "peso"... is the CRM reading browser's configuration or something like that to set the currency? is there a way to force the currency to be set always "euro" ??
