Can't enter a Deactivation Status Request for custom entity

Hi all,

We have a custom entity and before the Fall '13 update we used to be able to hit the Deactivate button and set a Status Reason for deactivation - I was able to create a few different choices and when the user deactivated a record they could select one. Since the Fall '13 update this option is gone - when the user clicks Deactivate the record goes straight to Inactive with no workflow. Is there any way to get that back?
