I am looking for some assistance on some Java Script, either if someone has some code I could use or point me in the right direction. We are using CRM 2013 Online.
There are 2 pieces of code I am trying to write, but honestly do not have a clue how to start of if it is possible.
1) New Appointment Activity - Populate the Required Attendee field if blank with the contact/account record from the regarding field. Depending on how you add an appointment sometimes the required attendee field is blank but the regarding field is populated correctly. To save users looking for a contact/account, I am hoping to automatically populate the field to save users time.
2) Quick Create: Does anyone know if it is possible, to populate a field within the quick create form from a record in the main window. Eg. A user has an Account open and needs to create a number of contacts under the account quickly with basic info. When they click on the quick create the Parent Account field is populated to match the account in the main window.
