First and Last Name order in Contact Search inconsitent

Hi,

We have an interesting problem when we search our Contacts.  The results show contacts some with First Name (space) Last Name, and some with Last Name (comma) First Name.  I have checked the Contact records themselves and their names are entered correctly.  What might cause this and how might I fix it?
