I have read many Best Practice blogs for workflow timeouts and waits but have a question about the 'amount' of time a workflow waits for...
I currently need to write a workflow to trigger an email 3 months before a due date, which is pretty easy and I have used a timout for this.
I was just wondering...if the due date could potentially be 5 years time, that means the workflow will be waiting for 4 years 9 months, does this cause any system problems and is there a better/best practice for long waits?
