Hi Team,
I am getting following error while configuring outlook client for MS CRM 2011 On Premise deployment.
"There is a problem communicating with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server. The server might be unavailable. Try again later. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator."
Log file errors:
- Error connecting to URL: http://<servername.domain>.com:5555/XRMServices/2011/Discovery.svc Exception: System.ServiceModel.Security.SecurityNegotiationException: The caller was not authenticated by the service. ---> System.ServiceModel.FaultException: The request for security token could not be satisfied because authentication failed.
For an on-premise CRM implementation, CRM is in Domain A, and the user is trying to access CRM (via Outlook Client from Outlook) from Domain B. User is able to access crm from his machine through IE.
Since the user and CRM are in different domain, the CRM Outlook Client configuration (from the user’s PC) fails as it’s not able to connect.
Please kindly advise if you may have some suggestions.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks,
Sandy
