My organization has not used the Contracts entity in CRM previously, but would like to start. For some background, our pricing is not standard, but client specific. Our concern with adding pricing to Contracts is that it will be "double counted" in CRM. For example, if we have the won opportunity and the contract, we don't want to double count the revenue. Ideally, the pricing put into contracts would not affect anything else.
Is this a legitimate concern? Can someone explain what happens when you add a product line with pricing in a contract? Where does this pricing link to?
