I'm using the update record option for Dynamics CRM 2011. This gives me the opportunity to enrich data from external sources, all through Excel.
If I use advanced find for the export, it gives me the opportunity to show columns for the specific entity. And it gives me the option to add columns for related entities, i.e. accounts and contacts.
If I export to excel from there, I can see all the columns. But It won't let me update the existing records for the related entity. Is that true?
Is there a way to this? If yes, how? If not, is there another thing I can do. I now went back to export/import/update for each entity, but that takes a lot of time. Hope someone can help me!
