Found more than one RibbonDiff entity error when trying to import new ribbon using Ribbon WOrkbench

I have read through all the posts here on the forum regarding this issue and am trying to fix it with these comments:

1. This issue still presents itself in CRM Online 2016; so it's not a bug that has been fixed --- or maybe it's an issue with the Ribbon Workbench?
2. I am trying to follow these instructions: V:\Shared\Project_ReplaceSSIS-WPS\Backups\SocialServices_IntegrationCore_04-22-16 but I have *MANY* RibbonDiff nodes in my customizations file.  
3. If I remove all the nodes --- entire node --- will it reset all my ribbons?  I'm fine if it does and would almost prefer that.  Modification of the ribbons on my custom entities has proven problematic at best and I would just like to start over.
4. Are there any detailed instructions for full use of the Ribbon Workbench??
