field onchange event not firing on create a +new record

Hi,

I have contact lookup on my form. When click on '+New' and created a contact record this lookup onchange event is not firing.

I have added a java script function on the form UI, OnChnage event of the lookup.

We are not using 'Legacy form Rendering' option in system settings.

If any one of you have fix/solution for it, please let me know.
