Activity feeds for all users within organisation

Hi There,

First post here so hope it doesn't sound to dumb,

We are currently in the process of rolling out CRM throughout the organisation. We currently have an internal blog which we use to alert users to new starts etc.

I was hoping that CRM Activity feeds could replace this and keep it all within the 1 system. However after looking at activity feeds it looks as if the user has to manually follow each user if they are able to see posts that they are not tagged in.

Is there anyway by default that all users see a certain post even if they are not following that user? i.e. if the HR department post a announcement about a new start. So that once I set a user up they are automatically set up to follow certain individuals.

Or is there anyway round this? without having to make sure everyone follows the HR person for example

Any help would be great.
