Document Location renaming considerations

I have a requirement to modify a handful of SharePoint document locations utilizing absolute URL's "by accident".  A simple workflow should resolve these inconsistencies.  When looking into the few document locations that should be utilizing Absolute URL's (Account, Product, Etc) I noticed all the names were the same ..5 instances of Document Location 1 regardless of the relative URL<->Field association.

Question- Can I rename the Document Location without causing problems?  Would any script or plugin reference the label name?
