I just need some clarification on the CRM license. We purchased CRM 2011 Professional Server (On Premise) in June of 2011. The license indicated five CAL named users. Recently, we added more users to our deployment and it has exceeded beyond five. Is this going to cause issues for other users? We haven't seen any errors or issues yet regarding the maximum number of users. I read in this KB (msdn.microsoft.com/.../hh699677.aspx) that "A Microsoft Dynamics CRM deployment operates by using a single product key. Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 does not require additional product keys to be added when changes are made, such as adding a client access license (CAL). The single product key contains the Microsoft Dynamics CRM version, server license, and the CALs. "
Does this mean that when I originally purchased five CAL from my partner, I can add more users beyond that limit without having to obtain new keys?
Please advise.
