I have set the server-side synchronization for synchronize the email's in Dynamics CRM 2016 (Online) with Gmail settings, which is working fine. I am really confused over server side sync option and usability of Email router application ! Why should I use this application if my mails get automatically synchronized at server level?
Can anybody explain me exact usage of Email Router Application in Dynamics CRM? And typical scenario where we must have to use this application?
