Hi,
We use a custom entity to give ID(Auto number) for records that we create like opportunity and Accounts, this entity will be called using a plugin on create which will use the number available and increment it so that it can be used for the next record to be created.
This works perfectly fine but sometimes something happens and due to this two records are given the same ID, we are not able to find the reason or any correlation between these occurrence as it is completely random. This is affecting us as there are many there systems integrating with our CRM and they use the this ID as the primary Key hence there are duplication all around and all other process fail. please help.
