Hi,
the regarding field can contain related record from a wide selection ( Account, contacts, lead, opportunity etc. ) What I want to do is to fill in a lookup field (account) within a record but I need to get the account name from the regarding related lookup. So lets say I have a record that has the regarding "pointing" to a lead record. I want to get the account name from that lead record. Or if the regarding field is pointing to an opportunity record, I want to get the account name from the "potential customer" field within the opportunity. The problematic is the variety the regarding field can be related to.
Is there an easy way to achieve this?
