At some point I believe we had this working but something has changed. We currently have what I consider a service account in CRM with System Admin access and a CRM Pro license. This account is used for things like data integration and workflows that run in the background. I'm trying to send out emails using this account as part of the workflows but I'm in a pending send status. I can approve the mailbox for the account in CRM but when I run a test and enable it fails. Microsoft has informed me that the user does not have authority to send emails because it is a shared mailbox. This just doesn't make sense to me. I just want to send emails out using a service account, something similar to a Do Not Reply email address without consuming an Exchange license. I have created a queue and associated the queue with the service email address but am still running into the same issue. I should add that all of this is in 365. Does anyone have a good solution for this scenario?
Thanks,
David
