i've been tasked with doing some sys admin for CRM (i'm new to CRM). We're upgrading to CRM 2015 from an older version (from at least 6 years ago - yes, we've neglected this app for too long I know). We have a SIC code field in the LEADS entity. This field is designated as "searchable", but we can't seem to be able to search at all. in the old crm, we can search in this field (that little maginifying glass - you click on it, and it magically pops up your SIC code choices. and now that we've imported our existing data into the new CRM (in the TEST environment), we've noticed that this field is no longer searchable. perhaps this is something simple, but i've looked everywhere i know (which isn't much at this point), but still can't figure this out. the field is supposed to be searchable, yet it isn't. would appreciate any thoughts on where to look/investigate.
