I perform quite a few installations of CRM and i'm often asked the question whether the account used for the installation can be disabled or have its permissions downgraded.
I had always thought that the install account was just that - only required for the installation of the CRM application. It's often the case that this account might be elevated to Domain Admin' just for the purpose of the installation, following this the access would be downgraded.
What i'm not so sure about is that if this account is disabled or its permissions downgraded then what implications would there be should you attempt to import a new organisation using this account, surely this would require most of the permissions of the installation account?
Any input would be appreciated.
